For massage therapists

Massage software that protects the time between clients

Uply Meet is massage software for solo therapists and small clinics: clients book a 60 or 90 minute session from your own link, the minutes you need for fresh linen and notes stay blocked, and a reminder email goes out before every massage.

There is no app for clients to download and no account for them to create. They tap your link from your bio, your Google profile or a message from you, choose a session and get a confirmation with a calendar file attached.

Your massage booking page, ready to share

Clients see your sessions as a short list, each with its length and price. They pick one and only see starting times that leave room for the whole session plus your turnover time, so a 90 minute deep tissue booking never squeezes into a 60 minute gap.

The page works in any phone browser. Clients type their name and email and can add a phone number or a note if they like. The form also asks them not to share health details, because a booking page is not the place for an intake form.

Turnover time you never have to defend

Back to back massages are hard on your hands and on your timekeeping. Each session in Uply Meet carries its own buffer: minutes blocked after the massage for changing the table, washing up, airing the room and writing up the session. The massage presets start with 15 minutes after each session. Set yours to 10, 20 or 30, and clients will never see that time as bookable.

Breaks work the same way. Add a lunch break to your working hours, or split a day into a morning block and an evening block for clients who come after work. The booking page simply has no times inside a break.

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics notes that therapists, especially self-employed ones, may spend time recording notes on clients, marketing, booking clients and conducting other business tasks (Occupational Outlook Handbook, massage therapists). Online booking takes the booking part off that list.

Mobile massage and home visits

If you travel to clients, the buffer before a session becomes your travel time. The preset "Mobile massage at your home" blocks 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after a 90 minute session, so there is time to drive, carry the table in and set up. Adjust it to the distances you usually cover.

Uply Meet does not plan routes or check addresses. Clients can leave their address in the optional note, or you can confirm it by message after they book.

Reminders that do the chasing for you

Therapists with very few no-shows tend to say the same thing: they remind people. One massage therapist wrote that they have had only a handful of no-shows in 20 years and credited a reminder sent the day before (r/MassageTherapists).

Uply Meet sends that reminder for you. Each client gets an appointment reminder email 24 hours before and another 2 hours before the session, each with a link to reschedule or cancel inside your notice period. On Pro you choose the timing and write the message in your own words.

Keep health details out of the booking form

Massage involves health questions, but a public booking form is the wrong place for them. Uply Meet asks only for what a booking needs, a name, an email, and an optional phone number and note, and it reminds clients not to type health information. Under the GDPR, data concerning health is a special category with stricter rules (GDPR Article 9).

Keep your intake form and treatment records where you keep them today. On Pro, customer notes and a visit history let you jot practical things next to each client, such as the room they prefer or where they like to park.

Moving from a general scheduler

Plenty of therapists start on general scheduling software made for meetings, then miss the details a massage practice needs, such as turnover buffers and session lengths that are not a round hour.

Acuity Scheduling, a common choice, has no free plan; its Starter plan is $20 per month billed monthly for one calendar and includes email reminders (acuityscheduling.com/pricing, prices checked October 25, 2026). Uply Meet's Free plan includes two email reminders per booking for up to 100 online bookings a month, and Pro is $12 a month. The acuity scheduling alternative page compares the two in detail.

Massage sessions to start from

Choose Massage therapy when you sign up and these sessions are ready to edit. Prenatal and mobile sessions start unticked because not every therapist offers them. Lengths can be any multiple of 5 minutes, so a 75 minute session is fine.

Pricing for a solo practice or a small clinic

Most solo therapists fit Free at first: one bookable calendar and 100 online bookings a month, with reminders included. Pro adds editable reminders, client notes and no booking cap, and removes the "Powered by Uply Meet" badge. A clinic with several therapists uses Studio. Every paid plan can be tried for 7 days without a card, and the full breakdown is on the pricing page.

  • Free$0, 100 online bookings a month, 1 bookable staff member
  • Pro$12 a month, or $9 billed yearly, 1 bookable staff member, no monthly booking cap
  • Studio$20 a month for 2 staff plus $8 for each extra staff member, or $15 plus $6 billed yearly

Massage therapists: questions and answers

Can I offer 60 and 90 minute versions of the same massage?

Yes. Make each length its own service with its own price, as the deep tissue presets do. Clients pick the length they want and only see times where the full session plus your turnover buffer fits.

Can clients pay or leave a tip online?

No. Uply Meet does not process payments, so payments and tips happen the way you handle them today. Deposits for each service are planned and marked Coming soon.

Can I collect intake or health forms?

Not inside the booking form. It only asks for a name, an email, and an optional phone number and note, and it tells clients not to enter health information. Custom booking questions are on the roadmap and marked Coming soon.

Does it work for mobile massage?

Yes, for scheduling. Use the buffer before and after each session as travel time so you are never booked across town with no time to drive. Uply Meet does not plan routes.

What if a client cancels late?

Clients can only cancel or reschedule online inside the notice period you set, for example 24 hours. After that the link shows your contact details, so a late change goes through you. Any late fee is up to you; Uply Meet does not charge cards.

Do clients need to download an app?

No. Your booking page opens in any browser, and the confirmation and reminder emails include everything a client needs to manage the booking.
