A Calendly alternative built for appointment businesses

Calendly is a well-known meeting scheduler, and for sales calls, interviews and consultations it does the job well. A studio has a different day. Calendar connections today
Calendly connects to the calendar you already use on every plan: one calendar connection on Free and several on Standard. Uply Meet does not sync with Google Calendar yet. That sync is on our roadmap and labeled Coming soon everywhere on this site.
Payments at booking
Calendly Standard connects Stripe and PayPal, so a client can pay when they book. Uply Meet does not take payments yet, and deposits are Coming soon. If you need money up front for every booking right now, Calendly is the better fit.
Built for meetings
One-on-one scheduling, a browser extension on the Free plan and many event types make Calendly a natural home for calls, demos and interviews. If those are most of your bookings, it was designed for exactly that.

Reminders on the free plan
Every booking gets an email reminder 24 hours and 2 hours before the visit, on every plan including Free. Research on clinic reminders found that more than one reminder works better than one, which is why we send two by default.
A real service menu
Each service has a name, a duration in 5 minute steps, a price and optional buffer time before and after. Clients see what they are booking and what it costs before they confirm.
One calendar per staff member
Clients pick a staff member or the first one available. On Studio each person has their own hours, breaks, days off and color on the team calendar.
No double bookings, by design
Two overlapping bookings for the same staff member cannot both be saved. The rule lives in the database itself, so it holds even when two clients press confirm at the same second.

Pick Uply Meet if
- You run a spa, massage practice, barbershop, nail, lash or tattoo studio and your bookings are services with prices.
- You work alone and want reminders without paying for a plan: the Free plan covers 100 online bookings a month.
- Clients should be able to reschedule or cancel from a link in their email, within the cutoff you set, without creating an account.
- Your clients travel and you want each time shown in their own time zone next to yours.
Stay with Calendly if
- Most of what you schedule is calls, demos or interviews rather than in-person services.
- You need two-way calendar sync or card payments at booking today.
- You have a team of two or three and the lowest per-seat price matters more than a service menu.
Monthly cost by team size
Here is what each team size costs on monthly billing, from list prices. A solo professional pays the same $12 on either paid plan, and on Uply Meet the Free plan already sends reminders, so many solo studios never need to pay at all. For two or more people, Uply Meet Studio costs less than Calendly Standard: $20 against $24 for two, and $8 against $12 for each extra person.

Meeting scheduler or appointment booking app?
A meeting scheduler answers one question: when are two people both free? A meeting scheduling app such as Calendly is excellent at that. You share a link and the other person picks a free slot. Every slot is the same length and nothing is being sold.
An appointment booking app answers more questions at once. Which service, how long does it take, how much does it cost, which staff member does it, does the room need ten minutes to reset, and how far ahead can people book? If your meeting scheduling software was never set up for those questions, you end up adding them by hand in messages, which is the work online booking was supposed to remove.

What a free Calendly alternative should include
If you are searching for a free Calendly alternative, check what the free plan actually sends to clients. On Calendly Free, automated reminders are not included. On Uply Meet Free, clients get a confirmation with a calendar invite and two email reminders, and they can reschedule or cancel from a link.

Yes. The Uply Meet Free plan sends email reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before every booking, for 1 bookable staff member and up to 100 online bookings each calendar month. Calendly lists automated reminders from its paid Standard plan (pricing checked 25 October 2026).
Is Uply Meet cheaper than Calendly?
For one person, the paid plans cost the same: Calendly Standard is $12 per seat per month and Uply Meet Pro is $12 per month. For teams, Uply Meet Studio costs less: $20 a month for two staff plus $8 for each extra, against $12 per seat on Calendly Standard and $20 per seat on Teams.
Does Uply Meet sync with Google Calendar like Calendly?
Not yet. Google Calendar sync is coming soon. Today every confirmation email includes a standard calendar invite file that the client and you can add to most calendar apps.
Can clients pay when they book?
Not yet. Uply Meet does not process payments today, and deposits are coming soon. Calendly Standard connects Stripe and PayPal if you need payment at booking now.
Can I use Uply Meet for meetings too?
You can offer any service with a fixed length, including a consultation. Uply Meet is designed for in-person appointments, so it has no video meeting links. If most of your bookings are calls, a meeting scheduler fits better.
